During the first weekend we will enjoy the essential visits in Rio de Janeiro:
Christ Redentor, Pan de azúcar, Copacabana Beach, and much more.

Al transfers and hotel in Rio are included.

You will be working from Monday to Friday in a dental clinic in Valença with patients from 9am to 7pm.

On Friday we aim to finish earlier in order to enjoy the sunny afternoon together.

A bus contracted by our organization will pick up the ICORI team in the lobby of the hotel at 8.30pm and drive the team back to the hotel, after the daily hands-on surgeries.

The participants will be working in small groups of two or three people, attending daily patients with different cases and necessities. Your instructor will introduce you the case with an X-ray in order to discuss the treatment planning with you. Once the treatment planning is clear, one of the participants will start with the surgery while the other participant assists him/her. Meanwhile, the instructor will supervise the procedure and support you.

Once the surgery is finished, the next participant will operate the next case. After each surgery, a new X-ray will be taken in order to discuss the final result. The participants will acquire new skills from the first minute, so that in the end of the week they will be able to operate by themselves.

Brazil is a wonderful environment for this formation program. Its location, weather and welcoming people are ideal for this live surgery marathon. During this week you will experience a unique environment with other doctors from all over the world with whom you can share and discuss your newest experience in oral surgery.

We compromise with locals who do not have the possibility to access dental treatments, and offer them our treatments free of charge. Our instructors can speak English, Spanish and French, being able to communicate with patients and participants. The local team of the clinic is making the follow-up treatments of every patient.
